I prefer to be transparent: organic fabric and production where everyone is treated and paid fairly cost up to 3× more than industrial options in Asia (especially at a small production scale).

Count on me to remain consistent with this eco-responsibility and human ethics across all En Chair et en Os projects. For the prints, I have indeed chosen premium, recycled paper that is Imprim'Vert certified.

How to do the same for the merch? By sourcing production and fabric outside of Asia, with solid certifications:

• GOTS, which guarantees organic cultivation without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, efficient water management, and compliance with strict social criteria throughout the supply chain;
• Fairtrade, which ensures ethical working conditions and fair wages for farmers.

I received a blank sample of this hoodie to be sure of the product I am offering you. After three attempts with other factories, it was love at first sight for me: a thick and dense fabric that remains very soft, it's a big YES.

Why this price?

I manufacture 100% in Europe, from thread to garment: spinning, knitting, dyeing, cutting-assembly, and branding are carried out in Portugal. This means: decent wages, controlled working conditions, regulated chemistry (water-based inks, PVC/phthalate-free), and reduced transport. I use 100% organic cotton (GOTS), heavy and durable — here a 500 gsm with brushed fleece. The result: a premium, thick, and ultra-soft hoodie, designed to last and age beautifully. I produce in small batches and pay every stage a fair price: it's more expensive than a distant import, but it is consistent with my values and the quality I want to deliver to you.

Which size to choose?

The fit is oversized/boxy. My advice: take your usual size for a controlled oversized look. Real-life examples:

• Me: 1.70m – 75kg → M
• Friend (lean/fairly slim): 1.80m → L
• Friend: 1.54m – 55kg → XS

If you are hesitating between two sizes: stick to your size (natural oversize). I will contact you after your order to confirm your size and avoid any errors.
